In Indian armed forces Indian Air Force IAF is one of the important part.In 1932 Indian Air Force IAF was established.Indian President is the chief commander of IAF.Recruitments were conducted by Indian Air Force for SSC Short Service Commission Officers in flying branch.In this Academy Fighter Pilot or Helicopter Pilot or Transport Pilot - form one of this the candidates are trained.
Recruitment Dates & Educational Qualification :
The application form submission starts from October onwards session starts from next year july.Both males and females can apply for the recruitment.The age of applicant must between 19 - 23 years.Educational qualification for the candidate must be graduate in any discipline having atlest 60% aggregated marks from recognized university.The candidate should have passed 1th std in Physics and Mathematics.Else,B.E /B,tech Degree With minimum 60% aggregated marks.The applicant should not have any backlog present and they should provide provisional or original degree certificate at the time of admission.
Physical Standards :
The applicant must have minimum height of 162.5 cms.The vission of eye on one side must be 6/6 & for other side of eye is 6/9,permissible if other eye correctable to 6/6.Before 20 yrs LASIK surgery should not be done.If LASIK surgery is done with no complications ,they have passed atlest 12 months.
Selection procedure for Indian Air Force IAF SSC officers in Flying Branch:
In one of the selection boards first day there is a (PABT) Pilot Aptitude Battery Test & SSB interview.The qualified once will have personality test in 1st stage,in which it consist of Picture perception,Intelligence test and Discussion test.After finishing 1st stage ,the qualified candidates would have 2nd stage ,which consist of Psychological test, group test and Interview on 3rd, 4th and 5th day respectively.Those who qualifies will be conducted to medical test and the qualified once appointed as Trainee.In Air Force Training Establishments there will be 74 weeks of training.
After training had completed SSC Short Service Commission will be given for 14 years.The pay scale for IAF SSC officers in flying branch will be given pay of Rs.15600 to 39100/-per month with other allowances.
